Nicki Osbaldiston
I’m Nicki Osbaldiston, a strategic advisor working with organisations navigating complex audiences.
Over time, I’ve seen a consistent pattern. Organisations grow, strategies evolve, and stakeholder groups expand. What once felt clear and aligned starts to fragment.
The strategy itself is often still sound, but different audiences begin interpreting it in different ways. Communication becomes harder to manage, and engagement becomes uneven.
I work with leadership teams to restore alignment between strategy, positioning and communication so every audience understands the same direction, clearly and consistently.
My background is in global marketing, communications and leadership development, working alongside organisations navigating growth, change and increasing complexity.
What I’ve seen repeatedly is this. It’s rarely a strategy problem. It’s a drift in how that strategy is communicated and understood.
Nothing is obviously broken, but momentum slows and teams work harder to achieve the same results.
I work with leadership teams to step back and look at what’s really happening beneath the surface. Where has alignment drifted? Where are audiences interpreting things differently? What is creating friction or confusion?
From there, we focus on what needs to be realigned to restore clarity and traction.
This isn’t about adding more marketing. It’s about restoring coherence so strategy, positioning and communication are working together again.
Clearer communication, consistent messaging, and stronger engagement across your audiences. Momentum that feels aligned again.
If you’re navigating complexity across multiple audiences and want to explore where alignment may be drifting, a strategic conversation is the best place to start.
This is a focused discussion to understand your current context, where traction may be uneven, and whether a strategic alignment engagement would be valuable.Â
"A very practical session with Nicki - she was able to adapt her approach to our different needs (2 of us did the session) and her communication style was engaging, clear and open. The offer of follow up was also appreciated and I must take that up very soon! I would recommend Nicki's session to anyone wanting to use LinkedIn."
Jacqui Goodall, General Counsel NZTE

After 90 minutes and pages of notes with ideas and clear actions, I followed her recommendations with great success. She's definitely now my go-to person when I need sound strategic marketing advice!"

Much more than just someone interested in my LinkedIn profile, Nicki is interested in me as a leader and in my businesses and will do whatever she can to promote these. Day-to-day she is an expert in LinkedIn and has much value to share. She is also great at keeping people consistent and can be firm but flexible when needed. Highly recommend!"

"I loved working with Nicki on my positioning! Of course, she is LinkedIn-savvy but what you get when working with her is so much more - she is a talented strategist who brings a uniquely creative approach to finding your “sweet spot”, teasing out strengths you may have taken for granted, and helping you express the positioning that is uniquely YOU. The result for me was a new-found confidence. Highly recommended!"
